The new MacBook Pro M2 also has the same ports, weight, dimensions, and screen size as its predecessor. (In comparison to the new MacBook Air, however, the Pro is slightly thicker at around 0.61”, and heavier at 3 pounds.)
The design is also the same as the MacBook Pro M1, meaning the Touch Bar with Touch ID is a feature for this MacBook model. (The Touch Bar is not a feature of the new MacBook Air, although Touch ID is.)
While there are many similarities between the MacBook Pro M2 and its previous counterpart, the M1, the M2 “is capable of up to 18% greater…performance than the M1,” making it a great choice for anyone who’s looking to improve the efficiency of their laptop!
